Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you (the business that opens a Rekon workspace) and Lucalmhub Limited (RC 8760396), Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of your business.

Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep sign-in details, codes and PINs private.
• You are responsible for the people you invite and what they do in your workspace, including the roles you give them.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Free trial, plans and billing

• New workspaces get a 14-day free trial. At the end of it, choose a plan to keep using Rekon.
• Plans are billed in naira, monthly or yearly, in advance. VAT is added at the applicable rate.
• You can change plan at any time. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply from the next billing period.
• If a payment fails, we will tell you and give you time to pay before limiting the workspace to read-only access. Your data is not deleted for non-payment without notice.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.

Your data

Data you put into Rekon belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy notice. You can ask for an export at any time, and for deletion when you close your account.

You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers’ data, including their phone numbers and addresses, under Nigerian law.

Acceptable use

Do not use Rekon to break the law, sell prohibited goods, send messages people did not agree to receive, attempt to access other workspaces, or disrupt the service. We may suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Rekon available and your data safe, and we back it up regularly. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a core feature you rely on without reasonable notice.

Records and financial figures

Rekon’s statements and reports are management information built from the records your team enters. They do not replace professional accounting or tax advice, and we are not responsible for decisions made on records that were entered incorrectly.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. In either case you can export your data before it is deleted.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will try to settle any dispute by discussion first.

Changes to these terms

We will show the date of the latest version at the top and tell account holders about significant changes by email before they take effect.
